What is the Ohio Professional Pet Groomers Association?

The OPPGA was founded in April 2020, in the midst of a state-wide pandemic shutdown. Originally, we used the organization as a central source of information amidst the confusion of COVID-19 protocols. The OPPGA is a 501c6 non-profit business league dedicated to holding higher standards in pet safety, generating business-building opportunities, offering versatile learning experiences and creating legislative fluidity in our industry.

our mission

Our mission is to provide a higher standard of care, safety, and sanitation throughout Ohio grooming salons by providing exclusive learning experiences, guidelines, and other resources to the grooming community. We strive to promote the utmost professionalism in our industry, held to a strict code of ethics, and legislative solidarity for groomers in Ohio.
