This 2-hour course is an introductory guide for those who want to venture into rabbit grooming. With 6-9 million pet rabbits in the US and roughly 100 rabbit groomers, we need more groomers to handle these pets for grooming. As rabbits are fragile creatures, much information should be known before even attempting to groom a rabbit. This course will give you the basics to help you decide if rabbit grooming is for you and enough knowledge to begin with doing rabbit nails.

What is the Ohio Professional Pet Groomers Association?

The OPPGA was founded in April 2020, in the midst of a state-wide pandemic shutdown. Originally, we used the organization as a central source of information amidst the confusion of COVID-19 protocols. The OPPGA is a 501c6 non-profit business league dedicated to holding higher standards in pet safety, generating business-building opportunities, offering versatile learning experiences and creating legislative fluidity in our industry.
